C/Chaplain is an officer position in JROTC. Their duties are as follows:
- Keeping up morale within the unit
- Lead religious services
- Mediate conflicts between cadets
- Counsel cadets with issues at home or at school
- Create Movie Nights For the corps
-Their NCOs are called Chaplain Assistants
- When addressed what their rank is they should respond with C/Chaplain NAME
- This position is optional within the corps but if there, it is the sign of a larger and more advanced unit
- Chaplains are also important for discipline within the unit. They should be the liason for all disciplanary issues to the corps commander
- Chaplains should be shown the utmost respect by other officers and especially enlisted for their commitment to their God, their Corps, and their sacrifice of rank.
