OVERVIEW

Celebration High School FL-20053 is a United States Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp In Celebration, Florida. It operates inside Celebration High School as an elective class. There are approximately about 168 cadets in the wing divided into two groups, four squadrons, and ten flights. All cadets are given a personal AFJROTC Cadet Guide to keep, follow and review. It's their responsibility to know the information contained in it. The Cadet Guide outlines AFJROTC participation, standards of behavior and dress code. Cadets have the chance to rank up in this program. Also cadets have opportunities to enjoy outside school events like Picnic, The military ball, The battan death march, Field-day, and much more. The JROTC Program at Celebration has several different teams and clubs to participate in. They have a saber team, color guard, kwity hawk, drill team, commandos team, exhibition team, aviation club, and robotics team. FL-20053 received it's activation orders from Air Force Headquarters, on August 24th, 2005. The corps is run by cadets and 3 instructors: Senior Aerospace Science Instructor: Lieutenant Colonel Jimmy R. Soles.
