A squadron is an organization made up of two or more Flights. A typical Air Force Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps unit is made up of at least two or more squadrons. Squadrons are commanded by a squadron commander who is responsible for ensuring that the cadet corps objectives, policies, and operational directives are effectively executed within their squadron.
